An Update!

So after a few months of screwing around with my blogs, I think I’ve finally decided on a somewhat stable format for them:

  • aworldofsound will continue to serve as my primary blog, consisting mainly of my sound works but also of anything sound related that I deem particularly significant, including works from other artists as well as cool articles, videos, etc.
  • consord will now be the “everything else” dump, from generic reblogs and inspiration posts, to random personal posts and other stuff that just doesn’t meet the criteria for the main blog.  There might exist some narrow overlap as a sound posts that get put on the auxiliary blog could get reblogged on my primary but I’ll try to not let these “double posts” to be too common of an occurrence for those who might follow both blogs.

Finally, I will be making a conscious effort to be more consistent in the tagging of my content for organizational purposes!

Composer Nico Muhly: Think staccato
"Knowing how to read, and knowing how to interpret and knowing how to write critically are so connected to writing music - and being able to think about music effortlessly and as a language, rather than as this tortured botany. A lot of people think it’s like you have to go into the woods and make this kind of magical mushroom soup.

An excellent read

If you enjoy this track, please consider downloading it from my Bandcamp; it’s entirely free and you’ll get options of higher quality formats than the below-average 128-kbps mp3 stream format on this embed.
